BIOPLASTICS EUROPE : Sustainable bio-based plastics for circular economy: transferring knowledge into practice through technical, policy and business model innovations
OBJECTIVES
BIOPLASTICS EUROPE aims to research sustainable strategies and solutions for bio-based products to support the EU Plastics Strategy and a Circular Economy.
Main activities of this project are related to following subjects:
- Design of innovative products
- Assessment of environmental and economic life cycles of products
- Implementation of innovative business models
- Development of efficient reuse and recycling strategies
- Focus on safety of materials for environment and society
