It is designed to be\u00a0<strong>biobased, biodegradable, industrially compostable<\/strong>\u00a0and flexible using a multilayer structure with cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) to achieve excellent barrier properties. The purpose of this innovative packaging is to enhance the shelf-life of the packaging so as to have a better conservation of the food.<\/p>\n<p>Within\u00a0<strong>BIOCOMPLACK<\/strong>\u00a0project, NaturePlast is in charge of defining and to industrialise compounds based on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/natureplast.eu\/en\/matiere\/pla-polylactide\/\">PLA<\/a>\u00a0in answer to applications requirements.
