Adopting an &#8220;eco-friendly&#8221; approach, the designers have chosen, through the manufacture of these glasses, to respect both the environment and French know-how. <\/p>\n<p>To realize their project, they turned to NaturePlast, experts in bioplastics, to help them select and develop the material best suited to their specifications. The first step was to identify and select the most appropriate 100% <a href=\"https:\/\/natureplast.eu\/en\/european-commission-90c89e5c89-2\/\">biosourced bioplastic matrix<\/a> in terms of mechanical performance and service life. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6376\" src=\"https:\/\/natureplast.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/84857a69c950af5519ec27b1e1a7ad34.jpg\" alt=\"search friendly frenchy\" width=\"640\" height=\"509\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After a search for the most interesting <a href=\"\/?page_id=1424\">by-product<\/a> sources, particularly in terms of availability and ease of processing, waste from mussel, oyster and scallop shells was selected. Several formulations mixing marine by-products and biobased plastics were developed, produced and validated.
