One of PLA’s main limitations is its low temperature resistance<\/strong>. The polymer begins to deform at around 60\u00b0C, making it unsuitable for applications requiring prolonged exposure to high temperatures<\/strong>, such as food containers for hot liquids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To improve this resistance, NaturePlast<\/strong> and its BiopolyNov R&D laboratory<\/strong> have modified this bioplastic by developing new<\/strong> PLA-based <\/strong> compounds<\/strong> through blends with other polymers and additives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
