PLA,<\/strong> or polylactic acid<\/strong>, is a biobased<\/strong> plastic matrix made from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugar cane. It is recognized for its biodegradability under industrial composting conditions.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our biocomposites<\/strong>, PLA is combined with natural by-products, such as plant fibers or shellfish, to create high-performance materials<\/strong> with a minimal environmental footprint. These biocomposites are distinguished by their rigidity<\/strong>, transparency<\/strong> and natural appearance,<\/strong> in addition to their ability to decompose in controlled environments. Ideal for 3D applications and design parts, they offer an aesthetic alternative to traditional plastics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
