{"id":7147,"date":"2024-11-25T14:44:32","date_gmt":"2024-11-25T13:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sc2leje1101.universe.wf\/projet\/wow\/"},"modified":"2025-04-25T13:51:37","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T11:51:37","slug":"wow","status":"publish","type":"projet","link":"https:\/\/natureplast.eu\/en\/projet\/wow\/","title":{"rendered":"WOW!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>WOW!<\/strong> project aims to promote a circular approach by aligning supply and demand for cellulose, lipids and <strong>bioplastics (PHAs)<\/strong> made from wastewater.<\/p>\n\n<p>The following activities are part of the project:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identification of high-potential <strong>value chains<\/strong> for raw materials derived from wastewater.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of a decision-support tool to guide <strong>wastewater treatment<\/strong> plants in their transition to a circular economy approach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction and commissioning of <strong>three<\/strong> WOW! production <strong>pilots<\/strong> to optimize and implement innovative recovery and recycling techniques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of <strong>bioproducts<\/strong> from wastewater, such as bioplastics, biofuels and charcoal for agricultural use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of<strong>roadmaps<\/strong> for political action at national and European level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partners<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Water authority Vallei en Veluwe (coordinator)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wupperverbandsgesellschaft f\u00fcr integrale Wasserwirtschaft<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technische Universit\u00e4t Kaiserlautern<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Luxembourg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VLARIO<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NaturePlast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avans University of Applied Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>REMONDIS Aqua Industrie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VITO<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pulsed Heat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CirTec<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Severn Trent Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Natureplast intervention<\/h2>\n\n<p>NaturePlast is in charge of carrying out a state-of-the-art study on PHAs, as well as a market study on potential outlets for PHA-based bioplastics.<\/p>\n\n<p>NaturePlast is also in charge of R&amp;D for the formulation and production of compounds based on the PHAs produced by the project pilot.
