New projects

For more than 17 years, NaturePlast’s vocation has been to bring new solutions to the bioplastics market in order to promote their use.

This is why we are fully committed to innovation and collaboration with French and European partners through more than twenty collaborative Research and Development projects.

At the end of 2024, NaturePlast was able to confirm its participation in a number of projects:

FILL project: following on from the Interreg Indigo project (2019 – 2023), NaturePlast and its partners will continue to focus on the development of biobased and biodegradable mussel nets to combat plastic pollution in the marine environment.

NATUR’IN project: NaturePlast and its partners will aim to develop demonstrators for automotive interior decoration parts made from natural fibre and thermoplastic composites. Particular attention will be paid to end-of-life recycling solutions and the environmental impact of the composites developed.

REPLAY project: NaturePlast will be working for 2 years on a study of the recycling of thermoplastic biocomposites and by-products that it has been developing for many years, with the aim of helping our customers to manage the end-of-life of their products.

We’d like to thank all the partners and funders we’ve worked with for their confidence and commitment to innovation in bioplastics.

Keep following us for more details on these projects, and more surprises soon.
