- 2007 – The creation of NaturePlast
NaturePlast was founded by Thomas Lefevre, driven by a desire to offer sustainable alternatives to traditional plastics. From the outset, the company has been committed to favouring biobased and biodegradable materials, paving the way for a real transition towards more environmentally-friendly practices.
- 2010 – Birth of Biopolynov, our R&D subsidiary
In 2010, we took a major step forward with the creation of Biopolynov, our dedicated research and development subsidiary. This initiative will enable us to innovate internally, design tailor-made solutions for manufacturers, and accelerate our contribution to the development of the bioplastics industry.
- 2017 – Launch of our industrial pilot compounding line
With the acquisition of our pilot compounding line, NaturePlast is meeting the specific needs of a variety of sectors such as packaging and automotive. This new equipment positions us as a key player in the formulation and production of bioplastic compounds and biocomposites based on by-products.
- 2020 – A new industrial activity
We are diversifying our activities by offering grinding, micronising and sieving of by-products. This new offer is fully in line with our circular economy strategy, by recovering waste and giving it a second life.
- 2022 – Construction of our new building
This new space reflects both our growth and our ambition to innovate in the bioplastics sector. Designed to provide a modern and functional working environment, it illustrates our commitment to remaining at the forefront of the ecological transition.
