Algunos pol\u00edmeros biodegradables a\u00fan se obtienen a partir de recursos f\u00f3siles, pero su n\u00famero es muy limitado (principalmente PBAT y PCL). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>La biomasa utilizada para fabricar pol\u00edmeros de base biol\u00f3gica es <strong>renovable <\/strong>y procede de diversas fuentes, como<strong>la agricultura y la industria agroalimentaria<\/strong>.<strong> La fermentaci\u00f3n bacteriana de los az\u00facares<\/strong> y el<strong>uso de aceites vegetales<\/strong> son las etapas clave en el procesamiento de la biomasa para producir pol\u00edmeros de base biol\u00f3gica. Es principalmente mediante estos procesos como se obtienen las mol\u00e9culas de plataforma de la qu\u00edmica verde, que pueden utilizarse como <strong>mon\u00f3meros en la producci\u00f3n de que pueden competir con otras aplicaciones, sobre todo alimentos y piensos. El contenido de carbono-14 de un elemento derivado de la biomasa es muy caracter\u00edstico en comparaci\u00f3n con un compuesto derivado del petr\u00f3leo que contiene muy poco. Por tanto, medir la proporci\u00f3n de carbono de origen biol\u00f3gico es f\u00e1cil.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EN 16785-1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta norma permite determinar el contenido biobasado mediante el an\u00e1lisis radiocarb\u00f3nico y elemental.
