NaturePlast and BiopolyNov offer a versatile range of machines, equipped to meet the needs of a variety of plastics processing and other industries, on laboratory and semi-industrial scales.

Production shop

NaturePlast is responsible for the industrial production of bioplastics compounds, using a compounding line to meet industrial needs or validate large-scale processing.

The BiopolyNov Research & Development center is equipped with a range of plastics processing equipment to carry out the R&D work entrusted to it.

These facilities bring together all the different stages in the development of new materials:

  • Bioplastics compounding , which enables polymers, fillers, additives, etc. to be mixed.
  • Injection molding of bioplastic specimens and demonstrators (possibility of developing prototype molds with our partners).
  • Implementation of bioplastics on strip extrusion and thin film extrusion prototyping equipment.

  • Laboratory extruder: twin-screw corotating 21 mm, capacity from 1 to 10 kg/h
  • Industrial extruder: 27 mm twin-screw corotating, capacity from 20 to 100 kg/h
  • Hydraulic injection molding machine
  • Prototyping laboratory line: film extrusion and strip calendering
  • Multiple drying ovens and dryers

Analysis laboratory

Measuring the properties of materials is essential to all Research and Development work. To this end, BiopolyNov is equipped withcharacterization equipment to determine the main mechanical, thermal and aging properties of bioplastic materials. In addition to this equipment, we benefit from a wide network of European technical partners (private and public R&D centers), giving us access to other equipment needed to validate our R&D work.

By-products processing workshop

Our equipment and expertise enable us to grind, micronize and screen a wide range of by-products (food, marine, construction, etc.) on both laboratory and industrial scales.

  • Grinding: Our grinders reduce particle size in a homogeneous way, to obtain a particle size adapted to the specifications of the various industrial processes.
  • Micronization: For more specific needs, our micronization equipment produces fine powders, ideal for technical applications such as biocomposites.
  • Sieving: Our sieving machines guarantee precise separation of granulometric fractions, enabling rigorous particle selection.
