From 8 to 15 October 2025, the NaturePlast team was in Düsseldorf to take part in K, Europe’s largest plastics and rubber industry trade fair. This latest edition was an opportunity for our teams to showcase their latest innovations and confirm, through numerous discussions, the growing market interest in high-performance, tailor-made bioplastic solutions.
Bioplastic solutions that meet the most demanding specifications
Throughout the event, visitors to our stand were able to discover the extent of our expertise in formulation. Discussions confirmed that manufacturers are looking for new materials capable of meeting specific technical requirements.
Discussions focused on several key themes:
- The incorporation of by-products into the formulation of biocomposites allows the design/colour of the product to be changed depending on the co-product used and the particle size.
- The development of biobased and/or biodegradable compounds that meet specific requirements (thermal, mechanical, etc.) for a variety of applications.
- The importance of eco-design and the integration of bioplastics into a controlled end-of-life approach (recyclability, compostability).
These discussions highlighted the relevance of our tailor-made approach, which aims to provide a unique material solution for each project.
A strategic trade fair to strengthen partnerships
The K remains a special event for our entire ecosystem. The 2025 edition gave us the opportunity to meet our customers and suppliers, but also to engage in discussions and make valuable contacts in France and abroad. These meetings are essential for anticipating future market needs and initiating promising collaborations.
