On March 18 and 19, NaturePlast was pleased to welcome participants to an inter-company training course on biobased and biodegradable polymers, in partnership with Bioeconomy For Change. This two-day program enabled our participants to acquire in-depth knowledge while discovering the practical aspects of bioplastics processing.
Day 1: An enriching day of theory
The first day was devoted to theory. Our trainers explored the specifics of biobased and biodegradable plastics, covering key topics such as the bioplastics market, the materials used and their various applications. It was a unique opportunity for participants to understand the issues, trends and challenges facing the bioplastics sector.
Day 2: Time for practice
The second day was devoted to putting the concepts discussed into practice. Participants had the opportunity to try out different stages of the bioplastics transformation process, including compounding, specimen injection and material characterization. These hands-on workshops enabled participants to better visualize the production process and deepen their understanding of the various technologies involved.
We would like to thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment during the course. Their active involvement was essential to the success of the course.
If you’d like to learn more about bioplastics and discover our transformation processes, don’t miss our next training courses on May 20 & 21 and September 23 & 24.
