A look back at 5 key dates in NaturePlast’s adventure in the world of bioplastics.

  • 2007 – The creation of NaturePlast

NaturePlast was founded by Thomas Lefevre, driven by a desire to offer sustainable alternatives to traditional plastics. From the outset, the company has been committed to biobased and biodegradable materials, paving the way for a genuine transition to more environmentally-friendly practices.

  • 2010 – Birth of Biopolynov, our R&D subsidiary

In 2010, we took a major step forward with the creation of Biopolynov, our dedicated research and development subsidiary. This initiative enables us to innovate in-house, design customized solutions for manufacturers, and accelerate our contribution to the development of the bioplastics industry.

  • 2017 – Launch of our industrial pilot compounding line

With the acquisition of our pilot compounding line, NaturePlast is responding to the specific needs of a wide range of sectors, including packaging and the automotive industry. This new equipment positions us as a key player in the formulation and production of bioplastic compounds and biocomposites based on by-products.

  • 2020 – A new industrial activity

We are diversifying our activities by offering shredding, micronization and screening of by-products. This new offer is fully in line with our circular economy strategy, by giving waste a second life.

  • 2022 – Construction of our new building

This new space reflects both our growth and our ambition to innovate in the bioplastics sector. Designed to provide a modern, functional working environment, it illustrates our commitment to remaining at the forefront of the ecological transition.
