At the start of 2026, new equipment arrived in the NaturePlast workshop. Two new machines: a Billion injection molding machine and a prototyping extruder to manufacture 3D filaments.
The Billion, a new injection molding machine in addition to our KM injection molding machine.

Injection remains an important part of our projects. This is where the material really reveals its behaviour: mould filling, surface appearance, thermal resistance…
This new press allows us to go even further in our testing and analysis.
A prototyping extruder for 3D filament creation
We’ve integrated a laboratory filament extruder to create prototypes and visualize our formulations in 3D.
It allows us to :
- Transform our formulations into filament to observe the rendering
- Adjust extrusion parameters
- Produce small quantities for trials
- Test directly on our 3D printer
3D printing is a very interesting tool. It enables rapid prototyping, observation of behavior and identification of any processing constraints.
