Biobased PE (biobased polyethylene) is an alternative to conventional polyethylene, made from renewable raw materials such as ethanol from sugar cane. It retains the same physical and mechanical properties as fossil polyethylene, making it compatible with existing transformation processes and traditional PE applications.
Thanks to its versatility, biobased PE is used in many sectors: flexible and rigid packaging (films, bottles, flasks), technical parts for the automotive industry, or everyday consumer goods. It is particularly interesting for manufacturers wishing to integrate biobased materials while retaining the advantages of conventional PE, notably in terms of chemical resistance, flexibility and lightness.
Biobased PE is also chemically identical to its fossil equivalent, making it fully recyclable in traditional polyethylene processes.

Properties
- Partially biobased
- Recyclable
- Flexible to rigid
- Food contact

Distribution
We only sell biobased PE in compounds, enabling us to optimize its performance according to the specific needs of manufacturers. Also, when combined with fillers derived from natural by-products, it enables the development of innovative biocomposites, combining sustainability and the circular economy.
