Objectives
The DiMAT project aims to develop digital modeling and simulation tools to optimize each stage of the materials value chain: design, processing and production. The aim is to increase the quality, durability, efficiency and competitiveness of materials. In addition to the development of digital tools, four pilots are being implemented to evaluate the performance of the tools at each stage of the associated materials processing chains. Four case studies will also be developed, examining four types of material for specific applications: polymer compounds for synthetic textiles, technical composites, graphite and carbon black, and glass.

Natureplast intervention
NaturePlast is in charge of one of the pilots studied as part of the project, which involves developing polymer formulations to be spun for the technical textile industry (agriculture, fishing). Thanks to its expertise, it is guiding the development partners in the design of software adapted to the industry.
