We recently acquired a 3D printer, an investment that enables us to print new applications for our biocomposites.
Thanks to this printer, we can now rapidly prototype parts using our own materials, composed of PLA and by-products such as scallops, Brewers’ grains, coffee grounds and even bricks.
This enables us to show our customers more concretely the visual rendering of our biocomposites, and in particular the atypical textures that certain by-products can offer.
We work with Francofil, a French specialist in filament for 3D printers. Thanks to their expertise, we can create customized filaments from our own materials, in order to make the most of by-products and always with a view to the circular economy.
