Polypropylene (PP) is a widely used plastic matrix thanks to its high mechanical strength, light weight and good thermal stability. It’s an ideal option for applications requiring robust, cost-effective materials. As a matrix in our biocomposites, PP allows the integration of natural fillers, such as plant fibers or agricultural by-products, without compromising the mechanical properties of the final product.
Our PP-based biocomposites offer good impact resistance and easy processing by injection or extrusion. They are particularly suited to the automotive, packaging and furniture industries, where durability and performance are essential criteria. Thanks to the addition of natural materials such as by-products, these biocomposites are part of acircular economy strategy.
