Our innovative, aesthetic biocomposites in the Mer range are developed from by-products derived from marine resources, notably shellfish (oyster shells, mussels, etc.) and algae, sourced from French deposits. These unique materials combine technical performance with a sustainable approach, integrating unused by-products in a variety of plastic applications.
The shells, rich in calcium carbonate, give the material excellent rigidity, while the algae, with their fibrous structure, reinforce its mechanical properties.
As well as adding value to these natural resources, these biocomposites help to reduce marine waste and promote a circular economy.

Properties
- Partially to totally biobased
- Biodegradable and compostable depending on matrix
- Natural look
