DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS

The disposable products market is in complete accord with the use of biodegradable polymers for several years.

These applications include certain sectors of packaging (more in flexible packaging), bag manufacturing (fruits and vegetables bags that need to be biodegradable and biobased), disposable tableware (it is also subject to a future legal prohibition) or hygiene products (wipes, cotton-buds, etc.), in order to at least ensure that the end-of-life is not harmful for the environment.

It is thus that the bioplastic used most for these applications are PLA and a group of other biodegradable polyesters (PBAT, PBS, etc.) which can also be combined with different natural loads (starches, flours, etc.)
